Erik Housh is a co-founder and Managing Partner of MRE Commercial. Erik’s broad-based skill set spans all asset types, with great expertise in sales, leasing, development entitlements and property management, as well as asset and project management.

Erik has consistently been a top producer in the East Bay since 1986. Landmark projects include: Parker Place, a 155-unit, 30,000-SF retail mixed use development at 2600 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley; and a 250-unit, 40,000-SF retail mixed-use development in downtown San Rafael under entitlement. Erik’s local clients include Lennar Multifamily, Vaught and Boutris, Little Star Pizza, Narsai David, Goldstone Management, Lambert Properties, Fenton-MacLaren Furniture, Vital Building and Construction, California Syrup and Extract, and F.E. Forbes Company, among others. Erik has completed hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial transactions throughout his career.

Erik is a lifelong resident of the East Bay, where he and his wife raised their two children. Erik’s passions include coaching the Oakland
Tech Baseball team, backpacking, fishing, photography, writing, and above all, being a dad. He is a founding member and director of Oakland Field of Dreams, the non-profit foundation that built and maintains Rickey Henderson Field.
